世界最大のフラワーパレード＠ズンデルト（９月３日−４日）
オランダの南部ズンデルトで世界最大のフラワーパレードが開催される。約20の村の地区ごとに趣向を凝らしたダリアの山車が村を練り歩き、優勝を目指して競う。ズンデルトはゴッホの生誕地でもある。
山車は花で作られたとは信じられないほどの精巧さで作られた実物そっくりなコルソーを乗せ、練り歩く。ズンデルトのフラワーパレードは今年で８０年目。一度は見てみたいパレードだ。

A way of life with flowers
The parade is fully run by thousands of volunteers, from maintaining the flower fields to designing and creating the gigantic artworks that impress visitors year after year. For them it is more than a project, it is a way of life.
Zundert Corso parade and exhibition
On Sunday, September 3 from 1.30pm onwards, the flowery artworks of the Zundert Corso move along the streets of Zundert in a glorious parade. When the winner is announced, the triumphant float stops to be surrounded by its dedicated builders who exalt in an emotional cheer and celebration for the epic proportions of their accomplishment.
On Monday, September 4 from 9am, the floats will be on display in a grand exhibition for the public.
